About the photographer ...

An amateur photographer seeking new experiences and challenges in the world of photography.

Photography ... something I've never thought seriously of. I always expected a camera to take pictures and nothing more. Never planned to invest in photography equipment as I do now.

My story begun in 2005 when a friend of mine introduced me to a world of TrekLens. Photo-works of other amateur and professional photographers gave me a lot of inspiration, thus I have decided to buy more of a proper digital camera.

Still it was just a hybrid, Fuji FinePix S5500. During the following year, my skills, as well as needs and wants increased, and so I've moved onto a dSLR - Canon EOS 350D, which has served me well until spring 2008 where it was replaced by Canon EOS 40D.

A good enough gear for an amateur. Until I'm not a professional photographer there's no need for further upgrade.

Photography has become a hobby, my passion ...
